About
Trusted advisory firms, strengthened by shared scale and institutional discipline.
Loyal North brings together financial planning, an all-in-one advice and investment platform, and access to institutional-level investment management capability.
Who we are
Loyal North’s roots go back to 2004, when Fusion Asset Management was founded as an institutional investment manager. Loyal North was established in 2014, extending the institutional discipline into UK retail financial planning. We have since grown into a national wealth platform — bringing together regional financial advisory firms, a modern technology platform and discretionary investment management capability under one roof.
Our financial advisory firms operate locally under their own brands, with deep client relationships across England, Scotland and beyond — together managing approximately £2 billion in client assets. Behind them sits a central group structure that provides compliance oversight, technology infrastructure, investment management capabilities and operational support.
Our model
Loyal North is the holding company for a group of UK financial planning and wealth management practices. Our regional advisory hubs — long-established firms, each with its own identity, history and client base — are each authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority and retain operational responsibility for client services. Around them, the group provides access to the centralised compliance and risk management frameworks, investment management infrastructure, technology platforms, M&A and integration capability, supported by group finance and reporting.
This structure protects what matters at the local level — the adviser–client relationship and the trusted brand clients have known for years — while delivering the scale, discipline and institutional resources that increasingly define quality financial advice in the UK.
Our approach
Loyal North is a value-led, long-term partnership. We acquire quality regional financial planning firms and work with them over the long term — preserving their legacy and client relationships built over many years, while strengthening the operational and technology foundations of the regional hubs.
Our values
Acquired firms retain their brand, premises, and identity. Principals retain operational responsibility. The relationships built with clients, sometimes over decades, continue without disruption.
Every aspect of how we work — from acquisition structure to operational integration — is designed around the client experience. We invest in process, technology and standards that over time enhance advice quality.
We provide a long-term home. Our central team brings senior wealth-management experience from institutional banks and major UK wealth platforms. We practice patience, instil discipline and set the rigorous standards expected of a sophisticated financial services group.
Leadership
Our senior team brings together experience from leading UK wealth platforms, global investment banks and major UK financial services groups.
